Japanese Beef Don

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 bowl cooked rice
  • 300 grams sliced beef
  • 1/2 cups green beans
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • salt and pepper
  • poached egg optional
  • green onion optional
  • seaweed optional

sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp chicken broth mix
  • black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix sauce and set aside
  • Fill the bowl with rice and press down tightly.
  • Heat pan, add oil and cook green beans for a minute. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer it to a plate.
  • Cook onion for two minutes, add a bowl of rice in the middle. Add beef and sauté for a minute.
  • Then add sauce. Garnish with green bean and poached egg.
