Add whipping cream to a mixing bowl and beat on high speed.
Add sugar and matcha powder, beat until stiff peaks.
Add mascarpone cheese and mix.
Dip a ladyfinger into the espresso until soaked but not soggy.
Spread 1 to 2 tbsp mascarpone cream into an individual container, split dipped ladyfingers to fit into the container and then place it on top of the mascarpone cream. Repeat by layering the mascarpone cream and ladyfingers.
Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
