Easy Sautéed Beef Strip-loin

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb Beef Strip-loin, cut into cube
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1 bird eye chilli, cut into small rings
  • Optional: Deep fried shallot for garnish
  • Optional: Rice paper, cucumber, carrot

Marinate

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar 
  • 3 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine and black pepper for 30 minutes.
  • Mix sauce and set aside.
  • Use a pan to brown beef for both sides.  Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté onion, shallot, garlic and chilli for few minutes.  Return beef and add sauce.  Cook until the beef is cooked.
