Ham and Cheese Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients
- 1 small Vietnam baguette
- 10 pieces salami thinly sliced
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cup shredded cheese
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
garlic butter
- 8 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Heat butter, garlic, thyme and salt in a small saucepan. When you smell the fragrance from the garlic, turn off the heat.
- Cut the bread on horizontally but do not cut all the way through.
- Open each slice of bread, brush garlic butter and stuff ham and cheese into the bread.
- Beat one egg in an oven proof pan. Put the bread on top. Brush the remaining butter on the bread.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with thyme and green onion.
