It is an easy and tasty entree. Brandy adds flavour to the chicken and it goes perfectly with the orange sauce. It is tangy and flavourful.
Chicken with Brandy Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- 8 pieces chicken thigh
- 1/3 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 6 sage leaves, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp flour with 2 tbsp water to thicken the sauce
Chicken Marinade
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 slices of ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp flour
Instructions
- Marinate chicken for 30 minutes.
- Brown chicken on both size, remove chicken and set aside.
- Add brandy and deglaze the pan, then add orange juice and dijon mustard, bring it to a boil.
- Return chicken to the pan and make sure they are fully cooked. Add flour mixture to thicken the sauce.
