Abalone with Thai Sauce 泰式凍鮑魚

This easy to make appetizer will make your guests impressed with the luxurious looks and shellfish tastes.

Abalone with Thai Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 frozen abalone
  • 2 pieces of ginger
  • 2 stalks of green onion

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp minced shallot
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 chili, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Clean abalone and remove meat from the shell
  • Bring water to boil, add ginger, green onion and abalone.  Turn down the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.  Then put abalone into cold water.  Thinly sliced the abalone
  • Mix sauce and pour it on top of the abalone.
