A noodle dish where you can choose the noodles that go with this dish. The tasty mix of pork and tofu fried in a wok is great. You can use any noodles you like.
Lo Mein with pork and dried tofu
Ingredients
- 200 grams noodles
- 1 package dried tofu cut into cubes
- 250 grams pork tenderloin cut into thin strips
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 shallots minced
- 3 tbsp chili bean paste
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp water
pork tenderloin marinade
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger minced
- 1 tsp Chinese cooking wine
Instructions
- Marinate pork for 20 minutes
- In a hot wok, fry shallot, garlic for a minute. Then add dried tofu and cook for few minutes.
- Next add pork and cook for another few minutes.
- Now you can add chili bean paste, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sugar, water and bring it to boil.
- Mix your cornstarch and water, slowly add to your tofu and pork. Reduce slightly.
- Cook your noodles according the package.
