This spicy Korean-Chinese fusion mixes the best of Chinese seafood sauces and Korean heat into one. This mix of flavours is amazing and is easy to make.
Gochujang Lo Mein
Ingredients
- 500g of pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced
- 2 shrimp egg noodles
Marinade
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chicken broth mix
- 1 tsp cooking wine
Sauce
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp chilli oil
Instructions
- Marinate pork tenderloin with soy sauce, sugar, chicken broth mix and cooking wine for 30 minutes.
- Mix sauce and set aside.
- Heat pan with oil, sauté shallot and garlic until fragrant. Add marinated pork and cook until they are almost cooked. Add sauce and mix well. Served with cooked noodles.
