Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef

This dish has easy to find ingredients and the kimchi brings it together with the fermented flavor admired by many people.

Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef

Ingredients
  

  • 250g minced beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cup cooked rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup kimchi, roughly chopped
  •  1 cup mixed vegetable
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup of green onion, thinly sliced
  • salt
  • oil

Beef marinade

  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Chinese cooking wine
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef for 15 minutes
  • In a hot wok, add oil, cook onion and mixed vegetables for couple minute, then add beef and cook for another few minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  • Slightly beat the eggs and season with salt.  Add oil to the wok, then add eggs and wait until the eggs are half cooked, add rice and cook.  Cook until the rice become slightly crisp.  About 4 minutes.
  • Return the beef back to the rice.  Add and kimchi to the rice.  Stir for 2 minutes.  Add oyster sauce and soy sauce, mix well.   Season with salt.
  • Sprinkle with green onion.
